Breast Cancer and Fashion 2010- Pink Dresses

I am not the type to read Vogue or read the fashion magazines.  But I like to shop thrift stores and I was curious as to what was in for the Spring.  My search found that I kind of don't like allot of the clothes that are "in" this year, at least not those I've found so far with the exception of this collection displayed by Susan B Komen called "Pink Dresses."  I wonder why I am partial to them. You know why.   Pink Dresses.

Cancer In India- New Delhi Walk

Thanks to Twitter @Survive_Cancer I came across this article on a walk-a-thon held annually in New Delhi.  It was sponsored by "Can Support," a non-governmental organization (NGO).

The NEW Way to see Cancer- Mammograms & Thermal Imaging

I had my first Mammogram in 2005.  It was my first and last.  It showed I had a spider web of cancer in my left breast and within 6 months my breasts were taken and they gave me a new set and I've been told I never can or need to do a Mammogram again.  One of the few benefits I have discovered from my experience.  I never have to be exposed to the discomfort or the radiation of that type of MRI again.  At the same time it is a necessary evil.  And I worry some times that now it is harder to find out if I have cancer or not because I can't have a mammogram.

Ways to relieve Stress- the SPA.

THE FOLLOWING WAS SOMETHING I FELT URGED TO WRITE.  PLEASE TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT ANYTHING YOU DECIDE TO DO AND ABOVE ALL LISTEN TO YOUR BODY.  YOU KNOW BEST FOR YOU.
OK.  I have learned that we women have the right to pamper ourselves.  Actually the same is true for men.  Back east I felt that things like Spas and massages were something only accessible to the very well to do, or were silly. Plus the idea of being touched by someone else did not suit me.  I've done a 180 on that one.
